John Drew joined our London office in December 2010 to develop our architecture practice. He has over 30 years experience working on high profile developments and leading global practices. John is currently responsible for a number of commercial projects in Oxford and Cambridge, as well as projects in London including a 800,000 sqft mixed use development in Shoreditch and a new build Headquarters building in Holborn, and projects for clients including The City of London, Cain Hoy and Brookgate. John’s portfolio of work demonstrates his appreciation of master planning and the inherent connectivity of spaces and buildings to achieve their design objectives.
His prior experience includes being responsible for the planning process on 20 Fenchurch Street, the Battersea Power Station Redevelopment, the Mathematical Institute for Oxford University, and the Bahrain Bay Development in Bahrain. Prior to that, John was a partner at a global, internatially acclaimed architecture firm and worked on six major City developments including the Willis Building, the Walbrook Building, and 10 Gresham Street. He was also responsible for the Allen & Overy building in Spitalfields and Kogod Courtyard for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
