Doug has over 30 years of experience in architecture, design and planning. He has managed a wide range of project types from architectural to urban mixed-use development planning in the U.S. and around the world. Many of his projects have won both local and national design awards from the AIA, ASLA, APA and Congress for the New Urbanism. Doug’s primary experience includes office, hotel, retail, transportation facilities, urban design and strategic redevelopment planning with expertise in complex mixed-use urban design. His extensive portfolio overseas enables him to lead projects with a keen understanding of cultural and geographical context.
He is registered with American Institute of Certified Planners and received a Master of Architecture, Master of Urban Planning, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and Bachelor of Arts in Urban Geography degrees from the University of Michigan.
