The designs modern expression, overall planning and geological language is directly tied to the layout of the city of Riyadh. Exactly as the city is nourished by the Wadi, the development’s heart is akin to a natural oasis landscape.
The building exterior is composed of layered ribbons, which take cue from traditional construction methods that offer shade, solar control and privacy. The variations of shifting ribbons use a palette of stucco, timber and stainless steel. The combined elements create micro-climate pockets throughout the property that give guests the ability to enjoy outdoor dining and recreational activities, year round.
The hotels public areas stimulate the senses. Merging distinctive interior architectural details with local textures. The stylish lobby lounge presents a color palette of beige, brown and gold, with accents of sienna and purple, and is a popular destination for guests to relax. Custom installation artwork is used as a screen to create privacy. The state-of-the-art business center is modern and bright. A color scheme of neutral tones are enhanced by lavish skylights that let in substantial natural light throughout the day.
