Steve leads our K-12 practice and is the director of the K-12 Educational Facilities Group for the Chicago office. Steve's 25-year career has focused on the programming, master planning and implementation of nearly 1.5 billion dollars of K-12 projects across the nation and abroad.

An avid reader and strategic thinker about the evolving nature of our global society and economy, Steve often assists schools in navigating change to create flexible environments that help to prepare students for success.

Steve firmly believes in a strong collaborative process and his work exhibits the ability to successfully translate client goals into innovative and thoughtful school environments. Steve's experience and understanding of the key issues surrounding K-12 facilities have led to numerous presentations at regional and national educational conferences on a broad range of topics from planning 21st century schools to safety and security to green architecture and its use in school facilities. His projects have been recognized with awards and honors from the architectural and educational communities.
