The Minneapolis office of global architecture and design firm Perkins+Will is pleased to¬ announce that Roslyn zumBrunnen, LEED AP, IIDA, has joined the Minneapolis team as Interior Design Discipline Leader.
In her new role, zumBrunnen will lead a team of 15 to champion interior design excellence for clients and project teams across all markets, including corporate, commercial, civic, cultural, healthcare, and higher education. Together with Lisa Pool, principal and Director of Workplace, zumBrunnen will support an already strong workplace practice focused on high performance planning and design, and on holistic, transformative solutions.
“Roslyn brings not only an incredible depth of knowledge and experience to our interiors practice, but also an infectious passion for her craft,” says Pool. “I look forward to seeing that passion in action as it benefits our clients and our team alike.”
zumBrunnen has 20 years of interior design experience, as well as a strong reputation for team leadership, a commitment to the community and social responsibility, and enthusiasm for environmental design. Her past experience includes leadership and design roles with key Minneapolis-based architecture and design firms. Earlier in her career, zumBrunnen was principal and owner of a Boise-based professional interior design firm specializing in the commercial, retail, multi-family residential, and wellness sectors. Her notable clients included Microsoft, Unilever, Pandora, and Wells Blue Bunny.
zumBrunnen is active in the interior design community with former leadership roles at IIDA-Northland. She has championed the local ZeroLandfill initiative, an upcycling program that supplies local artists and art educators through the upcycling of expired material samples from architecture and interior design firms that would otherwise go into local landfills.
“Perkins+Will has a consistent reputation for the quality of its work, its people, and thought leadership in workplace design” said zumBrunnen. “I’m excited to be part of such a revered organization and to play a critical role in further driving its interiors practice.”
